First Short Film Incoming!

Hey guys, just wanted to stop by and let you all know that the script for our first short film is finished! That's right, the script has been locked and we've been knee deep in Pre-Production for about a week now.

Right now I have a full Cast locked in, I have a few locations picked out, one in particular that would make the short a hundred times better so hopefully that one pulls through. I do not yet have a camera, still looking into good cameras for the short.

So I'd say we're about 30% completed. I'm hoping to shoot sometime between February and March of 2013, that's not too far away, and I'm expecting Post-Production to run about a month. So our first short film (if all goes as planned) should be airing in either March or April.

I'm really excited and I hope you all are as well, I'll keep you updated as we move forward. As for a little sneak peak of what the short is about, I'll give you the genere: Found Footage/Horror. I know immediately what your probably thinking, really Jordan, found footage.

I'm going to say right now that I'm not trying to be Paranormal Activity. I chose found footage because I think it's an interesting concept, I chose horror because it's a genere I don't know a lot about, and it's a very challenging genere to get right.

I'm hoping to learn a lot from making this short film and I am going to try my hardest to make it scary and entertaining. If I can make at least a few people jump or get their blood rushing then I'll consider it a job well done.

I hope you can have faith in me, I know that's a lot to ask seeing as I don't have any concrete work to my name, hopefully ya'll will enjoy it.

New Videos

Hey guys, just wanted to drop in and direct you to my latest video BODIE REIMAGINED, as well as the BODIE REIMAGINED Director's Cut. I editing these for a "Best Editing" contest by Luke Neumann of Neumann Films. Go check out his channel HERE, he has a lot of great tips for the DSLR filmmaker.

For a little update on everything going on with me, I'm very close to getting a camera, as soon as I get a camera I will start filming some short films. I have six shorts that I have written which I'd like to have them all made by the Summer of 2014. Big things are coming! Stay tuned

Update September 3rd

Well guys its been a while, six months to be exact. I just wanted to let you all know what has been going on. I'm going to go ahead and break the bad news first, the fully animated Halo movie is in "Development Hell". We just don't have the resources to get it off the ground, we have a finished script that I think is pretty good, I spent about a year and a half working on this thing, being mindful of the cannon and even working a lot of the cannon into the story. But unfortunately it is not going to happen.

For this film to be made we would need quite a team, at least 5 or 6 people extremely skilled in programs such as Cinema 4D and 3DS Max, as well as a whole array of other programs, and with the upcoming release of Halo 4 I just decided to put the project to rest. Maybe in the future once I'm more involved in the film Industry, I can find some people passionate about the game and we can bring this together, but it could be another 3-4 years before we would even start working on it again. I apologize to anyone who may have been looking forward to it, it's just not gonna happen (for now at least).

To switch back over to good news, I have some projects lined up in the future, some Film jobs and other stuff, so as these things progress and develop I'll let everyone on the blog no about it. The Tim Tebow Movie Trailer is up here, go check it out. It's no the greatest but I like it and I'm proud of it. Took me around 6 hours to make, most of that was finding the clips and finding a good song to use.

We are also working on a new project entitled Tim Tebow-Redemption. Its a fake trailer involving events leading up to the new season in august. I'll notify you more when I'm close to finishing it.
